GIUDE WINS THE GLOBAL AWARDS FOR INNOVATION 2014 PRESS INFORMATION Related to GIDUE’s Events

Following the nomination as finalist in the shortlist of the 2014 Label Industry Global Awards, GIDUE is proud to announce that it has been awarded with the Label Global Award for Innovation for the Digital Flexo Excellence™ Project, the latest revolutionary technology launched by GIDUE for the Labels & Packaging industry.

The Label Industry Global Awards have been founded in 2004 to celebrate innovations and excellence and during the last 10 years it has become the highest label industry’s accolade, judged by the most important Label Associations (FINAT and TLMI) and the 3 main technical magazines of our industry. Sponsored this year by Flint Group, the Award for Innovation  rewards a specific innovation, introduced during 2013, by a supplier or converter company in the label industry.

On 9th September, the label industry awards gathered together some of the sector’s leading companies and individuals at the Label Industry Global Awards 2014 to celebrate the most advanced technologies of the Industry. Held as part of Labelexpo Americas 2014, the awards ceremony and gala dinner took place at the main Ballroom of the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center.

GIDUE won the Innovation price for 2014’s edition with the Digital Flexo Excellence Project, the latest technology launched for the Labels and Packaging industry. Digital Flexo Excellence is a system of technologies developed to make the workflow, set-up and run of a flexographic press “digital” and fully automated. Digital Flexo Excellence presses are designed to deliver high productivity, costs reduction, flexibility and consistent quality, with “digital” efficiency, repeatability and ease of operation. With faster changeover times, higher press up-time, and minimum waste, it projects flexography into a new era in the label and packaging industry, challenging Digital printing on quality, efficiency and profitability also in micro and short runs.
